Eowyn (Lucidity's Patronum) was whelped on 26th November 2022. Her sire, Gunnar (AKC GCh. & Can. Ch. TruElegance Pistols at Dawn) is owned by Kathi Ogle of KastleKendall Cavaliers in WA. We chose to incorporate Gunnar into our breeding program due to his fantastic health and that of his ancestors before him - Gunnar is still heart clear at the age of 9, and had a clear MRI at age 4. His sire and dam were heart clear past the age of 7 and are both MRI clear as well. Gunnar has multiple generations of clear MRIs behind him.

Eowyn's mom, Minerva (Darden Cavaliers Revelio) similarly has fabulous health behind her - she is heart clear at age 4, her dad, Jay (UK Ch. Leogem Renaissance) is still heart clear at age 8 and has a clear MRI from age 3, and her dam, Ch. Darden Cavaliers Betty Boop was heart clear past 5 and has an MRI 0a scan at the age of 5.

We decided to keep Eowyn and her litter sister, Clarity from this litter because the great health in their pedigree is so important to the breed, and also because it was Minerva's third and final litter.
